By working closely with hospitals, care facilities, and patient service providers, the client leverages data analytics and iterative methodologies to drive operational efficiency and business agility across the healthcare ecosystem.
To support this mission, the client required advanced yet intuitive analytics solutions that empower healthcare institutions to become more responsive and data-driven—without adding complexity. User-friendly design and a minimal learning curve were essential to align with their core philosophy of simplicity and usability.
Given the sensitive nature of healthcare data, the client also emphasized the need for a technology partner with healthcare-specific knowledge, capable of interpreting industry terminology, ensuring data privacy and compliance, and delivering a secure, scalable analytics platform tailored to the sector’s unique needs.

Omega worked in close partnership with the client, dedicating significant time to deeply understand their challenges, strategic vision, and emerging technology opportunities. Through a highly collaborative approach, we co-developed innovative concepts and rigorously assessed a range of technology solutions to ensure the right fit.
The client’s vision centered on building a data source-agnostic technology platform powered by advanced big data analytics. This platform would serve as the foundation for over 20 customized applications, each tailored to meet the diverse needs of their healthcare users and member organizations—laying the groundwork for the first phase of their long-term strategic investment.
Key modules of our strategy include
i) Data Integration: A robust system capable of acquiring, consolidating, and analyzing data from a wide variety of sources, including Health Information Exchanges (HIE), claims data, pharmacy records, patient experience metrics, virtual communications, flat files, and more.
ii) Audit Capabilities: Comprehensive tracking and logging of every user activity to detect, analyze, and mitigate potential security threats effectively.
iii) Predictive Analytics: Advanced analysis focused on chronic condition prevalence, member retention rates, and financial performance metrics, empowering proactive and informed decision-making.
iv) Business Intelligence for Value-Based Programs: Enabling a range of value-based healthcare programs through powerful business intelligence capabilities supported by seamless API integrations.
The development team comprised 1 Solution Architect, 2 Senior Big Data Experts, 3 Senior Java Developers, 2 Junior Java Developers, 1 DevOps Engineer, 5 Full-Stack Developers, 2 AWS Cloud Experts, and 2 Quality Assurance Specialists.
The team utilized a comprehensive technology stack, including the Spring Boot 2.0 framework, databases such as MySQL 5.7 and Amazon Redshift, Redis (Elasticache) for caching, and containerization with Docker. Frontend technologies included React, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax Services, with data interchange handled via JSON. The solution was deployed on a robust AWS Cloud infrastructure supporting the entire web platform.
Digital Impact
Omega delivered an enterprise-grade SaaS analytics platform by designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and sustainable solution. This platform enabled the client to efficiently process and analyze over 1 million weekly transactions, supporting a network of more than 100 hospitals, Direct Patient Care (DPC) units, and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs).
Key outcomes included improved customer satisfaction, strengthened client loyalty, and a marked increase in retention rates.
Through this solution, the client also achieved multiple prestigious national accreditations, such as NCQA eMeasure (eCQM) Certification, NCQA PCMH Prevalidation, HIPAA compliance, and HITRUST certification, underscoring the platform’s security, compliance, and industry-leading standards.
